PSP themes?

I just purchased a psp a few days ago and i can’t figure out how to get the themes to work. I have already created a folder in the “PSP” section of my PSP labled “THEME” and have saved my .ptf into that folder but when i disconnect my psp then access my theme settings folder the theme never shows up.
My PSP came with version 3.71
